Job summary

Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking a full-time Stage Manager to join the London production of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, staged at the West End. The role requires experience on a busy show and involves coordinating cues, rehearsals, and performance runs.

Start Date: Monday 2nd November 2026; End Date: Sunday 27th December 2026; contract is fixed-term and full-time. Weekly salary is per SOLT/Equity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Stage Manager on a busy show is essential.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy live production environment.
• Strong all-round technical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with West End productions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cast calls, show cues, and stage operations for a first-class West End production.

Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time experienced,Stage Manager to work on the London production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW.

Written by Kate Trefry, an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, directed by Stephen Daldry, co-directed by Justin Martin for the Phoenix Theatre and produced by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions – running in the West End since November 2023.

Previous experience as a Stage Manager on a busy show is essential. Skills required include attention to detail, the ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy live production environment and good all-round technical skills.Your duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a Stage Manager on a first-class West End production.
