Description
Butlin’s has been creating wonderful holiday memories since 1936. An integral part of this has always been our fantastic entertainment. The Support Stage Manager will oversee the smooth running of technical entertainment delivery, coordinating the LX/AV/Sound/Stage teams.

About The Role
You will lead, coordinate, and implement training and development for the technical support team in STAGE/AV/LX/AUDIO. You will liaise with stage-based performance content to ensure delivery as directed and produced.

You will support visiting artistes and acts on stage and in dressing rooms, and coordinate the daily operation of venues. Ensuring high standards of show delivery and continuous evaluation of technical quality in AUDIO/STAGE/LX/AV is essential. You will also keep technical specifications and documentation up to date.

Working with other Stage Managers, the Technical Manager, and support teams, you will create the right atmosphere through AUDIO/LX/AV and visuals for events like Big Weekender, family breaks, and corporate events. You will implement systems and procedures for the maintenance of technical equipment and keep backups of all files and media.

This role will develop alongside the Technical Manager to establish a robust cover program for show operations and create development plans for the technical team across all fields.

About You
Candidates should have experience in live entertainment show delivery, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships at all levels. Innovation, attention to detail, and adherence to procedures and brand guidelines are important. Flexibility in working patterns is required as the role involves working across various shifts during family breaks, Big Weekenders, and corporate events.
