Job summary

TAIT in the United Kingdom seeks a Mechanical Integrator to unify multiple project elements into a cohesive system, bridging design with in-field execution. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on assembly across entertainment rigging, automation and carpentry.

The ideal candidate will read complex drawings, assemble bespoke equipment, and travel to client sites when required to ensure project success and seamless handovers to the integration team.

Qualifications

• Experience in the entertainment industry.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on mechanical assembly and integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical tasks on staging/rigging equipment to meet client specifications.
• Assist with on-site assembly/disassembly of show elements.
• Set up staging and mechanical equipment safely following TAIT policies.
• Install lifting systems safely and document inspections.
