Description

To support the management team working within the ITV Newsroom as part of the Administration team. Plan and maintain staff/freelance rosters to provide the required level of cover and capability for each area to meet programme requirements.

As this is a 3 Month FTC, we are looking for someone available immediately to start.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for creating, publishing and maintaining rosters for staff and freelance across ITV News. Record/amend hours worked and absences for employees.
  2. Manage working hours of each individual in line with the Working Periods policy.
  3. Make changes to the published roster as required to meet programme needs, considering cost implications and working guidelines.
  4. Book freelancers in line with finance, tax, and employment status guidelines.
  5. Authorize weekly cost sheets for all booked freelancers, documenting costs and reasons.
  6. Maintain the freelance pool.
  7. Cover for other Administrators within ITV News as needed.
  8. Understand HR policies to handle staffing issues efficiently and consistently.

Key Requirements
