Job summary

Arm’s Solutions Engineering team seeks experienced PCIe and CXL verification experts to validate high-speed IOs at sub-system level. Join engineers across UK/US/Canada/India to build next-gen SoCs using 3nm nodes and advanced 3D packaging, delivering industry-leading performance.

You will craft test plans, develop SystemVerilog/Verilog/UVM testbenches, verify IO virtualization with SMMU, and collaborate with RTL, architecture and other IP teams to ensure robust PCIe/CXL integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or EE or related field.
• 5+ years in verification of PCIe/CXL subsystems or SoCs.
• Strong Verilog HDL knowledge.
• Experience with SystemVerilog, UVM and formal methods.
• Experience with PCIe & CXL IPs and emulation-friendly transactors.

Responsibilities

• Craft test plans and develop SystemVerilog/Verilog/UVM testbenches.
• Verify IO virtualization with Arm SMMU and PCIe/CXL sub-systems.
• Debug test failures and improve verification methodologies.
• Collaborate with RTL, architecture and other IP teams.
• Guide junior engineers and balance project activities.

Arm’s Solutions Engineering team is looking for experienced PCIe and CXL experts in verifying the functionality and the performance of High Speed IOs at Sub-system level. New team members will join hands with other Architects, RTL design and verification engineers spread across UK, US, Canada and India to build next generation SoCs!
Arm is growing the team to develop best-in-class silicon solutions based on Arm’s IP solutions along with Arm's partner ecosystem targeting premium mobile, infrastructure, IoTs and automotive markets. Responsibilities

• As a creative verification engineer with a knowledge of Sub-System integration verification, IO Virtualization scenario verification with Arm SMMU, Interoperability verification with Arm and Third Party IPs, performance verification, PCIe/CXL integration verification at the sub-system level.
• You will work with the highly skilled team to understand and review the architecture and design specifications, and to build a functional verification strategy.
• Your key responsibilities will include crafting test plans, developing SystemVerilog/Verilog/UVM testbenches and tests, and debugging of test failures and issues.
• You will also be to developing and improving the verification methodologies used by the team.
• In addition, you'll work closely with other teams on the design microarchitecture, verification methodologies, system performance, etc.
• You will balance other opportunities such as working with Project Management on activities, plans, and schedule as well as guide and support junior members of the team.

Required Skills and Experience

In addition to bringing your accomplishment of either Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering (or similar field) over 5+ years of experience working in verification of sophisticated PCIe or CXL subsystems or SoCs, you will need:

• Solid understanding of digital hardware design and Verilog HDL.
• Experience in PCIe, CXL and IDE Feature Verification and Performance Analysis.
• Knowledge of System Memory Management Unit and Generic Interrupt Controller Integration with PCIe.
• Experience on working with PCIe & CXL IPs and Emulation friendly Transactors.
• Experience on simulation and emulation platforms.
• Expertise in UVM based verification.
• Good knowledge of verification strategies like test plan creation, tasks tracking, coverage and verification sign-off.
• Knowledge on formal methodology.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Arm-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures
• Experience with Perl, Python or other scripting language
