Oliver Bernard is partnering with a venture-backed AI startup to hire a Staff Backend Engineer. You will design and scale distributed backend systems, optimize databases, streaming pipelines, queues and caching, and push reliability and observability at scale.

You’ll work with engineering leadership to shape technical strategy, joining early enough to make a meaningful impact while building infrastructure that processes data at massive scale.

I'm working with a venture-backed AI startup that's building technology capable of processing and analysing huge volumes of real-time video and security data. Following significant growth, they're looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to help scale the infrastructure powering the platform.

This isn't a role where you'll inherit legacy systems, you'll be instrumental in defining how the platform evolves as the company enters its next phase.
