Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Staff Software Developer to lead the modernization of our liquidity platform. You will architect, implement and scale core components, balancing speed and reliability while guiding a world-class engineering team.

You will mentor engineers, shape coding standards, and drive strong practices in observability, CI/CD, and production readiness as part of a hybrid work model in the UK. This role requires deep expertise in backend and frontend tech and multi-tenant systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years working on complex, business-critical systems in production.
• Experience with large-scale multi-tenant enterprise applications.
• Strong communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Track record of delivering projects spanning multiple quarters.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural decisions balancing scalability, maintainability and rapid deployment.
• Lead technical design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers to grow into technical leadership roles.
• Champion observability, incident response and production excellence.
• Own critical systems end-to-end from design through production support.
