Job summary

Shearwater GeoServices is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Gatwick to lead and evolve the Reveal software platform. You will work across development, research and infrastructure, guiding engineers and aligning architecture with technical and user needs.

In this role, you will enhance performance, participate in build and release processes, and collaborate with HPC/IT teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality software for large-scale seismic data processing.

Qualifications

• Expert-level C++ experience with 10+ years.
• Strong memory management and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with MPI/OpenMP/CUDA in HPC environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Reveal software platform across teams.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to engineers.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate requirements into design and delivery.
• Contribute to the full software lifecycle from development to release.
