Staff Software Engineer - CI/CD & DevOps

Job Overview: Arm has built the world’s most pervasive compute architecture, and we’ve led many of the technology revolutions that impact the day-to-day lives of people everywhere. As a member of the TASC team (Tooling, Automation and Services for Cloud), you will have the chance to grow your knowledge and expertise. You will contribute to Arm technology deployed in the next generation of AI, IoT, Automotive and Infrastructure, enabling the safe execution of complex workload scenarios.

Responsibilities: If you are looking for a unique opportunity to drive CI/CD & QA efforts for a team that is transforming the EDA tooling in Arm, we would love to hear from you. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  1. Analyse users requirements, break down tasks, and help implement projects for a constant evolution of our CI/CD infrastructure.
  2. Select tools and testing frameworks and guide on best software test practices.
  3. Drive test automation by implementing and maintaining complex CI/CD workflows.
  4. Participate in the debug & test of the software on various platforms including private cluster and HTC cloud (GCP, AWS).
  5. Deliver/maintain QA hosting, Software Security including obsolescence handling for each below flow:
    1. Front End
    2. DFT
    3. MRS
    4. Back end
  6. Collaborate with each flow owner to establish test plans of their flow.
  7. Liaise with EDA vendors to qualify their tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. Proficiency in deploying a variety of testing and automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
  2. Strong understanding of applications running on Linux with extensive experience in platform or system validation.
  3. Skilled in tracking and reporting key testing metrics to ensure quality and performance, and experience in defect management.
  4. Ability to debug and solve software issues effectively.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience with Security Development Lifecycle (SDL/SWSS) practices.
  2. Experience in software development, in tests development and test planning.
  3. Experience with Python, python applications dependencies, cross-platform delivery challenges.
  4. Knowledgeable hardware verification, RTL simulation and formal verification.
