Staff Software Engineer | B-Corp Start-Up | Net-Zero Carbon | Full Stack

Up to £120,000 plus stock

Location: London - Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)

Technologies: Typescript, React, Node, GraphQL, GCP

We are working with an amazing Carbon Neutral, B-Corp certified start-up seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their small, experienced engineering team. Having received over $10m in funding in the last two years and reaching break-even in their initial market, they face exciting technical challenges in scaling their sustainable platform as they expand.

As a Staff Software Engineer in a start-up environment, your role will be multifaceted:

1. Designing and building new features to enhance the experience for users and stakeholders.
2. Improving tooling and infrastructure to support scaling efforts.
3. Collaborating with engineering and business teams to innovate and generate new ideas.
4. Leading design discussions to solve real-world problems and achieve business goals.

The tech stack primarily includes Typescript, Node, React, with some Rust on GCP, Kubernetes, and GraphQL. They are open to engineers from diverse backgrounds.
