Job summary

Google in London is seeking an experienced Senior Android Engineer to lead and shape large-scale mobile projects. You will mentor engineers, drive Kotlin/Jetpack Compose adoption, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure, performant apps at global scale.

You will partner with product and design teams to define technical direction, uphold quality, and ensure timely delivery of high-impact features for billions of users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 8 years of software development experience required.
• 5 years experience testing and launching software products.
• 5 years of Android application development experience.
• 3 years experience with software design and architecture.
• Masters degree or PhD in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 8 years experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of technical leadership experience leading project teams.
• 3 years of cross-functional/matrixed org experience.
• Experience with modern Android development: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material Design.
