Job summary

Lead Forensics is a UK-based SAAS company seeking a Staff level full stack Software Engineer to join our growing teams building our customer facing products.

You’ll lead work from requirements through design to implementation, using a modern stack (NodeJS microservices, Vue, Redis, SQL Server, SingleStore) and deploy daily to AWS in a DevSecOps environment to meet customer needs. You’ll mentor peers, shape architecture and ensure quality, scalability and security across production systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive TypeScript experience (5+ years) in production-grade systems.
• Strong knowledge of NodeJS, Vue, and scalable SaaS architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to design, architect, and lead software in an AI-enabled environment.

Responsibilities

• Working with stakeholders on initial solution design, scoping and system design.
• Spiking areas of uncertainty in designs and building POCs as required.
• Work with Product Teams to break down work into Epics and Stories.
• Turning user stories into production code as a lead developer and embedded architect.
• Ensuring the quality, maintainability and operability of code.
• Supporting the product in production and resolving issues.
• Responsible for design, architecture and implementation decisions.
