Workonomics is partnering with a tech-for-good company that develops AI-powered tools to address some of the country's most pressing social issues.

Their first product is live on the Government's Digital Marketplace, with strong adoption and growth, positively impacting UK public sector workers daily.

The company has recently raised new investment to support further innovation and product development.

They are seeking a hands-on Staff Product Engineer who:

• is already at Lead / Staff level (not suitable for a Senior looking to step up)
• has broad experience as a respected engineering leader, setting tech direction
• can technically lead the build of complex systems across the full stack
• is pragmatic when choosing languages and tools
• can convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• cares about user outcomes and data-informed decisions
• has a natural desire to collaborate cross-functionally and build org-wide relationships

This role suits an engineering generalist focused on solving problems rather than specializing in a specific tech stack.

This position may not suit engineers wedded to a particular technology.
