Job: Staff Software Engineer (Frontend)

Location: Northern Ireland (Remote)

Search 5.0 is partnering with one of the UK & Ireland’s most exciting start-ups for a Staff Software Engineer to join the growing team.

Our client is transforming how businesses handle their operations with a platform that creates operational efficiency powered by AI, reducing reliance on manual & third-party applications.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and Develop: Design and implement high-quality, reusable, and scalable front-end components using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver impactful features.
• Code Quality: Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices.
• Performance Optimization: Address performance bottlenecks for a seamless user experience.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and advocate for their adoption.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in front-end development with React and TypeScript, building robust and scalable solutions.
• Experience with build tools and version control systems such as Webpack, Babel, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and refocus as needed.
