Role Overview

You will adopt an AI-first approach to software development, collaborating closely with product, design, technology, and data science teams to build and improve application components. You will review code, provide feedback, evaluate technologies, mentor engineers, and contribute significantly to project success, serving as a subject matter expert within the engineering organization.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and own solutions that add value across systems while managing technical debt.
2. Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to align on solutions that meet product goals.
3. Promote a Test First mentality and emphasize quality at the code level.
4. Translate complex product requirements into clear technical tasks.
5. Stay informed about technology trends and provide strategic guidance.
6. Support cross-functional business processes and facilitate collaboration.
7. Ensure adherence to best practices and consistency across teams.
8. Mentor and support engineers' growth.
9. Foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.

Required Experience

• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Proficiency in C# and .NET 8+
• SQL, Git, Unit Testing, RESTful web services, Messaging & queuing
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Docker, Microservice Data Architecture, Microfrontend & Atomic Design

Preferred Experience

• MySQL, Postgres, Kubernetes, GraphQL

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in a computer-related or related field, with eight or more years of experience in IT and solution delivery, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
