Job summary

Odyssey seeks a world-model focused ML researcher in London to push diffusion-based robotic intelligence from lab to real hardware. You’ll own experiments end-to-end, design losses, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across robotics and AI.

PhD or equivalent, 2+ years ML research, in-depth PyTorch and diffusion experience, and ability to work in-person in London. Remote options are limited as the role is lab-based.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience with ML focus.
• Hands-on experience with diffusion and world models.
• Experience in ML pipelines from data to real-robot deployment.

Responsibilities

• Learn how interactive world models operate and interact with policies.
• Implement diffusion and robot-learning algorithms; design losses and RL objectives.
• Run ablations across WM and policy, testing architectures and data mixes.
• Bridge to real robots: data pipelines, fine-tuning, deployment on Robots-as-a-Service.
• Own the full ML stack used by Odyssey researchers and engineers.
