This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to identify needs, managing the hiring process, and sourcing candidates for technical and cultural fit. Ideal candidates will have substantial recruitment experience, preferably in aerospace, along with a Bachelor’s degree. Notably, this is an on-site position and requires U.S. Persons due to eligibility requirements.

Overview

The team at Advanced Space is leading humanity back to the Moon and pioneering innovative solutions in the space industry. Based in Westminster, Colorado, this team is looking for a skilled and experienced Staff Recruiter to support our growing team. In this role, you will provide a strategic and hands-on approach in building a high-performing workforce to support technical excellence and inexhaustible curiosity.

This role will be based in Westminster, Colorado and an ideal candidate will have a passion for exploration, development, and settlement of space. This person will play an integral role in ensuring that our fast-paced and growing team is properly aligned and equipped to support mission planning, operations, and technological development.

This position is open to U.S. Persons only (U.S. citizens, or lawful permanent residents), as required by applicable laws and regulations. We do not provide visa sponsorship or support work authorization for this role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to build job requisition(s)
  • Oversee the entire hiring process (from sourcing to offer stage) in an efficient and effective manner
  • Targeted online recruiting using social networking and other tools to find the right candidates for roles needed
  • Source and screen candidates for technical and culture fit
  • Schedule interviews with candidates and engineering team members
  • Supporting and attending recruiting events (locally and nationally)
  • Maintain positive relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Accurately tracks and reports on the recruiting effectiveness in our candidate performance software
  • Partner with Team Member Success to ensure onboarding steps are complete and accurate

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate multiple schedules and determine the appropriate approach.
  • Must have strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to support key stakeholders. Able to work extended hours as required. A strong sense of urgency and can-do attitude.
  • Exceptional follow through and follow up skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years full cycle recruitment experience with aerospace industry or engineering recruiting experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience conducting competency and behavioral based interviews
  • Experience working with the Greenhouse Recruiting ATS
  • Must espouse values of the company to see a problem and solve it, to be customer focused and bring inexhaustible curiosity
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $101,000 based on role and employee experience
