Job summary

Dex is partnering with a company to hire a Staff Product Engineer. You’ll own end-to-end delivery, shift between building new direct product work and creating internal tooling to empower others, and tackle hard engineering problems across distributed systems and multi-modal integrations.

You’ll contribute to rapid experimentation, measure impact, and help scale core service lines while maintaining a strong product mindset and focus on user experience and copy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years professional engineering experience with breadth over depth.
• Proven end-to-end ownership from fuzzy requirements to shipped solutions.
• Strong TypeScript and React with experience in distributed systems.
• Product-focused mindset with attention to UX and copy.
• Experience building internal tools or enabling others.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch new agentic service lines, from initial concept to live deployment.
• Design and implement core product improvements, often with one or two other engineers.
• Develop internal tooling and 'guardrails' that enable non-engineers to ship product changes independently.
• Tackle complex challenges in long-running workflow orchestration, retries, and integrations with external systems.
• Iterate rapidly on product experiments, using data to prove impact and inform future direction.
