Beam is seeking a Staff Engineer in the United Kingdom to join our product teams building the future of Beam. You will influence technical direction and help build systems that scale globally for 100,000+ users.

• Openness to learning our stack - We use the latest Ruby on Rails, Typescript, and PostgreSQL running on GCP. React + Typescript on the client backed by our shadcn design system

• Driving technical direction across our teams.

• Continuously innovating on our use of AI internally to drive gains across product and engineering.
• Releasing your work to 100,000+ users multiple times a day in tight AI driven iterations.
• Building the products that will shape how public services are delivered globally.
• Taking ownership over departmental technical direction.
