The role

The PowerVR team produces the world's leading family of ultra-low power GPU IP cores. We are expanding our architecture team and are seeking GPU experts to help define future generations of PowerVR GPU architecture. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to define our GPU roadmap and deliver next-gen GPU architectures. If you enjoy being part of an innovative team, get in touch with us.

You will:

• Collaborate with passionate GPU architects focused on efficiency
• Analyze industry trends and their impact on GPU development
• Gather ideas and requirements from stakeholders
• Specify and deliver architectural features
• Analyze to meet power, performance, area, and bandwidth goals
• Work with research to map algorithms to hardware
• Evaluate new ideas with modeling teams
• Define technology roadmaps with product teams
• Assist in design and verification
• Review performance data for power, performance, and bandwidth
• Participate in reviews and suggest improvements
• Influence our long-term technology roadmap
• Engage with customers and standards bodies like Khronos
• Patent inventions

• Strong communication skills
