Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in quantum technologies. This is a distinctive opportunity for early-career researchers to pursue independent work in a collaborative industrial research setting.
The position is designed to support original research, publication in top venues, and engagement with MERL’s broader research programs. Postdoctoral Research Fellows are given substantial freedom to shape their agenda, with support and mentorship from MERL’s technical staff. The appointment is for two years, with the potential for a transition to full-time research staff for strong performers.
