Salary: up to £135k plus ~£30k extra on top of that in equity.
Location: London but will consider UK wide (unfortunately can't offer visa sponsorship at this time)
I am working with a fantastic mission-driven HealthTech whose multifaceted solutions are genuinely improving the lives of venerable people.
They are in a really strong position, with a recent round of funding, and profitability from next year. As such, they are taking the time to plan ahead and bring in the right experience. They are looking for a Staff Platform Engineer to expand on their existing K8s microservices architecture, instil SRE best practises, and leverage AWS to it's fullest potential.
Given the impact of what they do, they take a very considered approach to development. Every feature is well thought out and nothing is pushed to production until it is ready. It makes for a great engineering environment and a very happy bunch of developers.
They've built an awesome culture of trust and autonomy and they want someone who has the confidence to tell them how you think it should be done. You'll play a huge part in their future strategy and decisions, but you'll also get to mentor, motivate and coach their excellent Platform Engineering team.
Potential for career progression huge, with the long term goal to grow out the team further, in which you'll play a big part. I've worked with them for a while and I've seen many engineers receive excellent support, training and opportunities to grow immensely.
You'll have the flexibility to work remotely or from their London offices, with the team getting together onsite at least once a month to bump heads.
