This is a rare opportunity for a Staff PDK Engineer to join one of the world’s leaders in Semiconductor technology, based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Staff PDK (Process Design Kit) Engineer will join a world-class chip development team designing high-performance ASICs. Key responsibilities of the PDK Engineer will include developing and integrating technology files, models and decks (DRC, LVS), and working with the design and layout teams to support tapeout. As a Staff level PDK Engineer, the successful candidate will mentor and train less experienced PDK Engineers and have the opportunity to progress to leadership level.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A University degree within Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • Strong experience within CAD, and a background within the analog / mixed-signal IC design field
  • Hands-on experience with PDK development, installation, customisation and validation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team and thrive in a dynamic environment.
