Job summary

Pioneer Wound Healing & Lymphoedema Centres is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Tissue Viability Team in Eastbourne. The role focuses on holistic wound assessment and delivery of specialist wound and lymphoedema care with opportunities for telemedicine triage and ambulatory clinic rotations.

Newly qualified and experienced adult nurses are welcome, with a structured preceptorship and a pathway to Band 6. NMC registration as an adult nurse is required to apply.

Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.

Responsibilities

Perform complex holistic wound assessments following referrals from healthcare professionals.
Plan, implement and evaluate specialist wound and lymphoedema care, including Doppler and full vascular assessments.
Support triage via telemedicine and ambulatory clinic rotations.
Demonstrate advanced clinical skills, including differential diagnosis and complex care planning.
Educate patients, carers and colleagues on wound care and tissue viability best practice.
