Job Overview

Dear Potential MFT Employee, thank you for considering MFT in your job search. MFT is uniquely positioned as a healthcare leader in the North West of England, offering unique opportunities and benefits.

Ward F6 has 32 beds and F2N has 16 beds, with an additional high care bay of 4 patients on F2N. Both wards are focused on Cardiac Surgery, caring for patients undergoing routine and complex cardiac and aortic surgery. There is an exciting opportunity to be part of the 4 bedded ERAS bay for fast track patients undergoing cardiac surgery, as part of phase 2 of the ERAS-C pathway, including patients with arterial and central lines, noradrenaline, pacing wires, and drains 8 hours post-surgery.

This position is ideal for any qualified nurse with a passion for Cardiac Surgery who is eager to expand and progress their nursing practice. The successful candidate will receive full support in education and preceptorship/mentorship.

We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in Cardiac Surgery who are hardworking and passionate about delivering high standards of patient care, motivated to maintain and improve their own skills.

A flexible approach to shift patterns is essential, including night duty and weekends.
