We are offering an exciting opportunity in Ward 3C Renal for 2 full-time Band 5 Staff Nurses on a one-year secondment.
Ward 3C Renal is a 10-bed inpatient ward caring for children with renal, urology, and rheumatology conditions. It has an attached 4-bed haemodialysis unit. This is Scotland's national paediatric renal unit, providing haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and renal transplants. The role offers experience in all aspects of renal care, including complex medications and transplants.
The ward operates on 12.5-hour day and night shifts, including weekends.
Applicants must be Registered Paediatric Nurses with an active NMC pin.
The successful candidate will:
Essential requirements include current NMC registration, evidence of professional development, basic IT skills, good communication skills, and enthusiasm for renal nursing.
