A leading mental health service provider in Tooting seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team. In this role, you will work collaboratively in an acute care setting, providing high-quality nursing care to service users while conducting assessments and leading admissions and discharges. We have teams of dedicated mental health professionals, including Mental Health Nurses, Health Care Assistants, an Occupational Therapist, an Activity Co-ordinator, and Psychiatrists.

If successful, you will work alongside our MDT, formulate treatment plans, and conduct daily risk and mental state assessments for patients with various mental health diagnoses.
You will lead on admissions and discharges, liaising with community mental health services, families, carers, and other third parties.
We are looking for a nurse who works holistically with service users to ensure excellent, patient-centered care aimed at safe community discharge.
You should be passionate about mental health, work in line with the Recovery Model and Trust Values, and collaborate with service users and their families.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct personal care to service users without direct supervision and coordinate the care provided by colleagues.
You will deliver high-quality, safe nursing care, ensuring standards of practice and clinical excellence in line with the NMC code.
The role includes leading comprehensive service user assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of person-centered care in collaboration with the MDT. You will oversee physical health assessments, uphold service users’ rights, supervise junior staff and students, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment with accurate records.
Band 5 nursing roles are open only to staff with an NMC-recognized nursing registration.
