As a Staff Nurse on the Elective Surgical Ward at our Chichester Hospital, you’ll drive the standard in patient care. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience.

As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker

• Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital

The Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is recognized for its friendly atmosphere, clinical expertise, and high standards of care. The hospital achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating following an inspection in October 2021 by the CQC – the highest rating possible.

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30-bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit, and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department, and CT/MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital, while our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester Gate for follow-up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.

Our main specialty is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, and pain management. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology, and rheumatology.
