Overview

Staff Nurse – Urgent Care Centre

Location: The Wellington Hospital

Hours: This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The unit is open between 8:00 and 22:00, Monday to Sunday; flexible working between these times is required.

Salary: Competitive dependent on experience plus 6% shift allowance & benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development).

An exciting opportunity for a staff nurse with experience in A&E or Urgent care to join the fast-paced and dynamic Urgent Care team. We are looking for an individual with drive and enthusiasm to deliver safe and effective care in a busy urgent care department, supporting the triage, treatment and admission process and improving patient flow. As a Staff Nurse at our Urgent Care Centre, you will provide high quality nursing through assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care for patients within the Urgent Care. The successful candidate will promote a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care and the services offered within the Urgent Care Centre.

  • Recognised course in plastering techniques (desirable)
