Caithness General Hospital in Wick, Scotland is inviting applications from enthusiastic registered nurses who have joined the NMC by September 2026, to deliver high‑quality patient‑centred care within a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates may express department preferences, but positions will be in areas with current vacancies. You will be supported to complete NHSH Flying Start Programme in your first year and gain comprehensive training for evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Must be newly registered with the NMC by September 2026.
• Willing to participate in NHSH Flying Start Programme within first year.
• Willing to work in rotational day/night shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to high standards of care and safety within the ward.
• Engage in induction, training and ongoing professional development.

Caithness General Hospital is delighted to accept applications from enthusiastic and motivated nurses who have recently registered with the NMC by September 2026.

Candidates can include preferences for specific areas but please note only departments with current vacant posts will be available.

You will be supported in completing NHSH Flying Start Programme within your first year and receive further training to gain the experience needed to deliver a high standard of evidence-based patient centred care working closely with the multi-disciplinary team.

Various permanent posts/hours will be available working a rotational day/night duty contract as required
