Job summary

NHS Highland is looking for an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to work within the Caithness Community Mental Health team based at Wick Community Mental Health Team. You will assess, plan, implement and review care for clients in the Caithness area, working with an Integrated Health and Social Care Team.

You must be registered with the NMC, adhere to the professional code, and be able to travel across the Caithness area.

Qualifications

• Registered with the NMC and working within the NMC code of conduct.
• A driving licence is essential with access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments, care planning, care implementation and reviews.
• Act as care co-ordinator where appropriate for clients in the Caithness area.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to work within the Caithness Community Mental Health team based at Wick Community Mental Health Team.
As a CMHN in Caithness you will work within an Integrated Health and Social Care Team and be required to carry out assessments, care planning, care implementation and reviews and act as a care co-ordinator where appropriate for clients in the Caithness area.
You will need to demonstrate a broad range of clinical therapeutic work as well as being able to work both independently and within the multi-disciplinary team setting.
The applicant would be required to travel efficiently and effectively to undertake the role. A driving licence is essential and a pool car may be available, however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required.
Applicants must to be registered with the NMC and work within the code of conduct at all times.
This is a permanent full time post of 36 hours working within service requirements.
