Job description

It's a great time to apply to join our incredible organisation:

Are you passionate about expanding your knowledge and gaining experience across a variety of specialist Cardiology settings?

We are offering an exciting opportunity for Band 5 registered nurses (whether you are newly qualified or experienced) to join our Cardiology/Catheter Lab rotation programme.

This 18-month rotational post allows you to develop your skills in two of our leading Cardiology areas; our Cardiology ward, which includes a Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and our state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheter Labs.

You will spend 9 months in each department, gaining hands-on experience and building confidence in complex Cardiology care.

Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be guaranteed a substantive role within one of the departments -- a fantastic opportunity to grow your career at one of the UK's leading cardiac centres. As part of the substantive role, you will be expected to work hybrid across both areas when required, supporting the service by utilising the valuable skills and knowledge gained during your rotation.

Develop your expertise, broaden your horizons and make a real difference.

Interviews will be held Face to Face at Royal Papworth Hospital Saturday 17th May 2025.
