We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, capable, enthusiastic nurse to join our Respiratory team. This gives a sound base for educational learning for students/nurse associates alike, and alongside the catering for individuals with chronic chest conditions, as well as providing end of life care for palliative patients. Ward 3 is also the cohort ward for patients with tracheostomies that require hospitalisation.

Our respiratory team is working to expand our services and provide exciting new opportunities with a respiratory enhanced care unit and future specialist nurse roles. The post holder will also have chance to expand their learning further with Non-invasive ventilation and respiratory failure teaching. Our work is intense and acute with specialist skills needed alongside sound general clinical skills.

We pride ourselves on maintaining extremely high standards of care, and we actively audit and peer review our work to identify areas for improvement and to show areas of excellence. The post holder must have passion, drive, flexibility and able to communicate effectively. Respiratory knowledge is desirable for this post, but not essential as full training may be given.
