Staff Nurse – Pre-Assessment

Woking Hospital | Pre-Assessment | Permanent | Full time | Includes weekend work

Up to £36,000.00 depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you’ll be attentive, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic.You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:

  • Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
  • As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery
  • Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care
  • Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
  • Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
  • Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
  • Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key

We are registered for 27 beds with en-suite facilities on the Ward, two Theatres with facilities including lamina flow and one Minor Operating Theatre, Pre-Assessment,

Physiotherapy clinic, Onsite Pharmacy, Mammography, Xray and Ultrasound, with nine consulting rooms in Outpatients.
