Full time- 40 hours per week

Paying up to £45,480 per annum dependent on experience

Basinghall Clinic is a state-of-the-art outpatient diagnostic centre, conveniently located in the heart of the city. With leading-edge technology and a team of dedicated experts, we offer fast access to consultations and diagnostic procedures*, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients.

Basinghall Clinic, a small friendly team caring for patients in a variety of specialities, including: MSK-injections under US, Dermatology-minor procedures, Breast clinic, Phlebotomy, Urology and Respiratory.

As a Staff Nurse you will ensure the provision of high-quality evidence-based nursing care in a clinical setting, working as part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for patient care within the Outpatient department.

What you'll do:

• Participate in delivering a consistent, safe service throughout the patient journey with a focus on customer service.
• Manage care of allocated patients.
• Demonstrate professional awareness and accountability.
• Maintain requirements for successful revalidation.
• Act as a Link Nurse in a designated area, reporting to and from meetings/training updates.
• Recognise needs for DOL assessments, mental capacity assessments, and safeguarding referrals, highlighting concerns.
• Liaise with Support Services to meet non-clinical needs, including cultural, sexual, religious, and other specific needs of patients.
• Have a working knowledge of emergency policies, including cardiac arrest and fire procedures.
• Deputise for the Senior Staff Nurse when needed.
• Undertake clinical duties as reasonably requested, practicing within your professional competencies.

What you’ll bring:

• Registered General Nurse with NMC PIN.
• Competent in wound care management and venepuncture.
• Experience in a Staff Nurse role in Outpatients.
• Strong communication skills, including report writing and verbal presentation.
• Supportive and approachable manner.
