Job Description: Staff Nurse - Outpatients
Location: Plymouth Hospital | Outpatients | Bank | Adhoc | Includes weekend work
Pay: Up to £16 per hour depending on experience

Main duties of the job

Show your passion for delivering excellent patient care. Working in a busy and fast environment, you will manage a varied and interesting caseload in Outpatients services. Take part in a wide range of procedures, manage clinics, and apply your extensive clinical skills to aid recovery. Instinctively meet the needs of patients and their families, offering comfort and reassurance. Work with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity in patient care. Enjoy more time to care and get to know your patients.

About us

Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital, situated next to the Nuffield Health Devonshire Gym in Derriford, Plymouth, has been part of the community since 1971. Our facilities include 3 main theatres (2 laminar flow and 1 digital), a fully JAG-accredited endoscopy suite, a 35-bedded ward, and outpatient services with 12 consulting rooms, including a dedicated ophthalmology suite and ENT service. We treat a range of specialties, including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, and Neurosurgery. We were recently rated in the top 50 hospitals in the country for our total hip replacement patient outcomes.

Job responsibilities

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you'll be alert, focused, detail-oriented, and empathetic. You should be registered with the appropriate governing body, such as NMC, and have relevant post-registration experience. You will:
