Ward 2 at Hexham General Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 Nurse to join our dedicated and friendly team. No two days are the same on our dynamic ward, and we offer a supportive environment where you can develop your clinical skills, contribute to outstanding patient care, and grow as part of the Northumbria family.

The ward operates an internal rotation rota system which includes a range of shift patterns to suit most needs. We have a friendly and flexible team of nurses with good staff retention.
Responsibilities include providing nursing care to a caseload of up to 26 patients, ensuring individualised care plans are formulated and carried out, and communicating effectively with colleagues and the multidisciplinary team. You will be proactive in MDT and discharge planning, able to work under pressure, and proficient in using all systems to document care.
All duties are to be carried out within your scope of practice.
