Are you ready for a challenge? Then join King's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit!

We are looking for enthusiastic Band 5 nurses with neonatal experience, who can work alongside our highly reputable multidisciplinary team. We also welcome experienced adult intensive care nurses with transferrable skills seeking a career change.

You will have the opportunity to complete training including Neonatal Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Special Care/High Dependency Course, and Neonatal Intensive Care Course.

The Neonatal Unit is renowned for its specialist services; we are a level 3 provider in the South London Neonatal Network. Due to high activity and complex acuity, we need experienced neonatal nurses to join our dedicated team.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will contribute to developing practice in the Neonatal Unit, working independently and autonomously at times, accountable for their professional practice, promoting dignity and human rights through family-centred care principles.

They will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide ongoing care from admission to discharge, supervise and teach junior staff and learners, maintain personal development, and deliver high-quality nursing care and support to patients and families.

  • Obtain informed consent and maintain accurate records in line with NMC, Trust, and legal standards
