Job description

Vacancies Available at Southend, Broomfield & Orsett Hospital

The candidate will work as part of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of care to patients and acting as a positive role model.

The candidate must always adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and comply with hospital policies and procedures.

This post involves working within the Ophthalmology Medical Support Worker (MSW) team across three sites. Driving is essential for this role.

The candidate must have a valid NMC pin.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Act in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times.
  2. Maintain professional and personal development in line with PREPP requirements through the PRIDE framework, annual appraisals, personal development plans, portfolio development, and reflective writing.
  3. Complete all nursing records in accordance with Mid & South Essex Hospital policies and NMC standards.
  4. Participate in practice and service redesign initiatives, working across boundaries and expanding influence.
  5. Implement policies related to health, safety, security, and risk to safeguard staff, service users, visitors, and the public.
