Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse for the Medical Day Bed Unit at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. This permanent role offers full-time (36 hours) or part-time (22 hours) options, with shifts Monday to Friday in a busy day-care setting.

You will provide compassionate, patient-centred care while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to service improvement in line with NHS Scotland values.

Job description

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Medical Day Bed Unit. The successful candidate will be a compassionate, patient-centred registered nurse committed to delivering safe, effective, and high-quality care within a busy day care environment. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will care for patients undergoing a range of medical investigations, treatments, and procedures while contributing to service improvement and upholding NHS Scotland values.
All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern

Permanent,
Role one: Full-time, 36 hours per week
Role two: Part-time, 22 hours per week
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday
Base location: Inverclyde Royal Hospital
