A prominent healthcare provider in Scunthorpe is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Integrated Acute Assessment Unit. This role involves caring for patients across Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedic and Urology specialties, with opportunities for bespoke training and career development. Ideal candidates should be registered nurses with at least 6 months experience and a commitment to the NHS values.
Two experienced Registered Nurses are sought for the Integrated Acute Assessment Unit (IAAU). The unit operates within the Humber Health Partnership across NLAG and HUTH sites, caring for patients from Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedic and Urology specialties in a fast-paced environment.
IA AU admits and treats patients from a variety of specialties in a 26-bed trolley area, taking patients from ED and GP requiring assessment from a specialty. The unit works closely with Same Day Emergency Care and offers opportunities to rotate across to that service. The team emphasises collaboration and mentorship; both newly qualified and experienced nurses are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will receive bespoke training tailored to individual learning needs and will develop extended skills such as venepuncture, cannulation, catheterisation, NG placement and management, and complex wound care, among others. A supportive environment with access to consultants, specialty doctors and specialist nurses is provided to help develop your nursing career. The unit asks that you bring positivity, enthusiasm and a commitment to the 6C2s of nursing.
