Job summary

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 nurse for Gynaecology. You will deliver high-quality patient care within the nursing team, assess needs, plan and evaluate care, and support peers and learners.

Hours are 37.5 per week, with a shift pattern spanning Monday to Sunday, including weekends and evenings. Two fixed-term contracts run until 30 January 2027.

Qualifications

  • Experience in acute hospital settings preferred.

Job overview

An exciting opportunity is available for a band 5 nurse within Gynaecology.The successful candidate will work as part of the nursing team, delivering care at the highest standards. Flexibility and dedication is required, and full support will be given by the senior team.

The successful applicant will be required to work Monday - Sunday, including weekends and evenings.

x2 37.50 hour fixed term contract until 30th January 2027.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development and implementation and evaluation of programmes of care without supervision. The post holder will also be required to take a lead / link role for the nursing unit/department to be determined on appointment/appraisal.
