Job summary

NHS Scotland's Highland Hospice in Inverness is seeking a Staff Nurse for full or part-time hours. The role offers a competitive salary £34,544 to £43,039 per annum pro-rata, with a 35-day holiday entitlement pro-rata and 12-hour shift patterns (days and nights).

You will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred palliative care, with opportunities to develop skills and contribute to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards in clinical knowledge and nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent, holistic, patient-centred palliative care.
• Be part of a multidisciplinary team including nurses, doctors, therapists, pharmacists and social work.
• Manage medicines, care planning and discharge planning.
• Assist with personal care, nutrition and activities of daily living.
• Work in a friendly, dynamic environment.
