You will need to be a hardworking and motivated team player committed to delivering high standards of patient-centered care with excellent communication skills, a flexible attitude, and a commitment to your own personal development.

The successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of 12 months experience in an acute setting.

While previous endoscopy experience may be advantageous, it is not essential as we provide training and competency assessment.

The post holder will play an important role in this large and dynamic team, which includes Nurse Endoscopists, Gastroenterology Consultants, Colorectal/Upper GI Surgical Consultants, and a large nursing and HCSW team.

This role requires active UK NMC Registration.

Please note: all staff being recruited are expected to work flexibly across all Trust locations when service demands require it.

Poole Hospital Endoscopy Unit has 3 procedure rooms. Royal Bournemouth Hospital has 3 procedure rooms, and Wimborne has 1 procedure room.

We provide diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI procedures, respiratory procedures like bronchoscopy, EBUS, and thoracoscopy, as well as complex procedures including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.

Please note that if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute.
