Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Team. The unit performs over 17,000 procedures annually and operates six days a week with shifts 8am–7pm; banking holidays rostered with a day off in lieu.
The successful candidate will assist endoscopists and provide care before, during and after procedures in a 7-room, JAG-accredited unit. Endoscopy experience is desirable but not essential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join our busy Endoscopy Team. Experience of working in Endoscopy is desirable but not essential.
The Unit is a modern, well equipped, 7 room, JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit. A capital build to improve on existing facilities was completed in September 2014. Our Endoscopy Unit performs in excess of 17,000 procedures per annum across a full range of gastrointestinal and respiratory endoscopy.
The successful candidate will support the Consultant Gastroenterologists, Consultant Surgeons and our team of nurse endoscopists to provide safe care and treatment for patients during their time on the Unit.
This will involve assisting the endoscopist during endoscopic procedures and caring for patients before, during and after their procedures.
The Unit operates across 6 days a week including Bank Holidays (Excluding Christmas Day) Shifts are based between the hours of 8am-7pm. Saturdays/Bank holidays are rostered with a day off in lieu.
