Northumbria Endoscopy Trust is expanding its service. An enthusiastic Band 5 Endoscopy Nurse is sought to join the team, with base at Hexham General Hospital and the requirement to work across Trust sites as needed.
The post holder will provide holistic patient care from admission to discharge, support cross-site coverage, and contribute to the teamwork ethos while aiming for high-quality endoscopy services.

An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, dedicated Band 5 Endoscopy Nurse to join the team. The post holders will be required to work Trust-wide across all sites if and when required. In the future this post may require weekend working.
Hours available 28.5. The post holders main base will be at Hexham General Hospital.
The successful post holder must be able to role model compassionate and have an inclusive team work ethos to shape the creation of a collective team work culture within the Trust.

reporting to the Endoscopy Unit Managers and Endoscopy Junior Sisters / Charge Nurse, the individual will be responsible for; holistic patient care from admission to discharge; provide cross-site cover as required; provide and plan nursing care, and provide effective communication across the multi-disciplinary team.
In addition, a contribution to the attainment of JAG Accreditation within the Endoscopy Unit will be expected.
