Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking qualified or newly qualified nurses to join the endoscopy units at Musgrove Park Hospital and Bridgwater Community Hospital. Roles offer development and training, with both full-time and part-time hours available.

The role involves caring for adults in endoscopy, rotating through admission, procedure rooms, X-ray, theatre, DSC, recovery and discharge, and supporting ERCP, EUS, and GI procedures with the team.

Qualifications

• Be a registered nurse with the NMC.

The role will encompass the provision of care for adults undergoing endoscopy procedures within Musgrove Park Hospital and Bridgwater Community Hospital endoscopy units. The expectation is for staff to work flexibly between these units.

Staff are expected to provide care within the Endoscopy setting including admission, procedure rooms, Xray (ERCP), General Theatre, DSC, recovery and discharge. Staff will be required to rotate through all areas as required. Upper and lower GI procedures, including ERCP,EUS , stenting and Respiratory Procedures , staff will be required to rotate and work in these areas .
