Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this post is 37 hours rotational Monday to Sunday

This is a Fixed term post for 7 months

An additional exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Emergency Department at Inverclyde Royal Hospital Greenock.

The Emergency department is a dynamic and evolving specialty. We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our amazing team. Successful applicants should be able to work well within a multidisciplinary team in order to deliver a high standard of patient focused care.

Applicants should have high professional standards and excellent communication skills. Applicants will be self-motivated, ready to develop their clinical skills within a supportive department with existing strong leadership.

Whilst being a busy department, we are friendly and approachable with a positive relationship across the whole team. We are excited to be welcoming new members to our existing team.

These are full-time positions (37 hrs) - part-time hours will be considered and can be discussed at interview.
