Job description

Role: Staff Nurse - Paediatric Day Surgery
Location: The Portland Hospital for Women & Children, London
Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon-Sat, with flexibility to work 7am-10pm)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on skills & experience + shift enhancements and benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits, and career development)

We're seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Paediatric Day Surgery Team at the Portland Hospital, rated "Good" by the CQC. The hospital is the UK’s only private facility dedicated to women and children's healthcare.

Our team is small and friendly, working closely to ensure high standards of care for patients and families throughout day surgery. We offer a variety of surgical procedures for children and young people, Monday to Saturday, excluding bank holidays. Shifts are 11.5 hours, including early and late shifts:

  • Early: 07:00am – 19:45pm
  • Late: 09:15am – 22:00pm
