This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Neurosciences/OMFS team at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, QEUH. Our department provides pioneering neurosurgical procedures and care as part of regional services for the West of Scotland.
Our 12-bed Critical Care Unit offers person-centred care for critically ill patients from Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. The unit has a dedicated Clinical Educator to support your skills development.
Experience in Critical Care is desirable but not essential. A post-basic critical care qualification is preferred.
You should demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, ongoing professional development, and understanding of our services and patient needs, or a willingness to learn.
Flexibility and teamwork are essential qualities.
A competency-based education program supports your development.
